Welcome to Cathedral Function Centre hall in Newcastle West. This is a private, wonderful setting ,perfectly suited for an after funeral wake, wedding, baptism, birthday, conference, engagement party, sit down gathering, reunion or similar. Our main hall size will comfortably seat between 40 to 140 persons around large tables decorated to your request. There is plenty of parking on the grounds and surrounding streets.The best thing overall as described unanimously by all our very happy customers is the food. The owner/chef has over 20 years of fine dinning cooking experience in Sydney and for 5 years opened and owned his very successful restaurant The original Atlas Cafe Restaurant in Newcastle East.

Cathedral Function Centre is located on the same grounds as the beautiful historic Sacred Heart Cathedral Church. Why not have your funeral service or wedding service at the Church and stroll across to the Function centre. Please feel free to pop in and have a look at the facilities and maybe stop for a coffee or gourmet lunch at our Cafe, opened Monday to friday 8am till 2 pm.
